It’s one of mildest chemical peel out there. The procedure is initiated by applying some kind of prep solution which removes residual facial oils, allowing peel to be more affective. After prep solution dries up, the salicylic acid peel is applied and left on with timer set. Finally peel is neutralised and gently removed with cleanser. Some warm and prickly felling is to be expected when the peel is applied. Result would depend on severity of patient’s skin. In general, 4-6 round of peeling treatment are recommended to achieve optimal results. Salicylic acid peel can be done once every two weeks. It’s usually suggested to people who wish to improve their clogged pores, acne, blackheads and oily congested skin. Salicylic acid peel improves overall skin texture.
